our first holiday

Well thanks to Missy I can finally start the blog! So here is goes...

This past weekend marked the first shared holiday for Matt and I. I must say it went pretty well... besides the fact that we were both sick! On Thursday we hung out at Missy and Cliff's with Matt's and Cliff's family. It was really fun! We had great food, perfect weather, some karaoke, and aTm football (although that one didn't have the best ending) My family got to enjoy the game in person!

And then Friday we went back up to the Woodlands for some shopping and dinner with my family. It was delicious. It was good to see my bro and get some time to just hang out. On Saturday we went with both families to pick out a Christmas tree and our own! We got to chop down our first Christmas tree together. I must say it definitely is a starter but sooo cute! We had a blast with both of our families.

And we are winding down the weekend by decorating our tree and our apartment for Christmas. Hopefully we'll get to feeling better soon. Especially Matt because he has a trip to Philiadelphia he has to make on Wednesday. This will be my first few nights at the apartment without him!! We'll see how it goes... let's just say there will probably be a lot of Christmas movies and phone calls made! Here's some pictures... more to come later!
